Government Peak Recreation Area is a gem of a trail system with several loops. It has over ten miles of wide and well maintained trails. In the winter, the Nordic skiing at Government Peak is among the best in the state. In the summer, the circuit transforms into a network of popular mountain biking trails. Stop at benches along your way for some scenic photos. Watch for wildlife as well.
