Registration required. Capture Alaska’s growing season on a silk scarf! Choose a plain or naturally dyed background color, then arrange fresh leaves over silk to create a one-of-a-kind silk scarf. You will learn about different plants for printing (there will be a variety to choose from—feel free to bring leaves you may want to try). While our silk bundles are being heat-processed, you’ll learn more about natural dyeing techniques. Participants will make one 8” x 54” scarf. This course is best suited for adult learners and teenagers (minimum age 12 years).
