Alaska Mushing School

Alaska Mushing School is proud to be a 7x Best of Alaska award winner for adventure tourism. We offer authentic experiences, from dog sled rides to hands-on mushing lessons, led by local mushers with over 100 years of combined experience. Our guides share their adventures, racing stories, and insights into their sled dogs and Alaskan lifestyle. Located just north of Anchorage, our team has raced distances from 100 to 1000 miles, including the Iditarod and Yukon Quest.
