About Moonstone Farm
Moonstone Farm is a historic farm that has been in its original family for over 90 years, first established in the 1935 New Deal project that brought farming families to the Mat-Su Valley. Moonstone Farm operates on a short but intense growing season; in just 12 weeks, this family business will grow a year’s worth of produce without using insecticides or pesticides, all while running an on-site farmer’s market and tasting room, a historic railcar vacation rental, bee hives, peonies, farm-to-table dinners, events, weddings, and historic farm tours.
• The Railcar Tasting Room: Thursdays and Saturdays from 2-8. Open to the public and for bar rentals between May 15 – November 15 (opening and closing day changes a bit each year based on weather, so check socials!). Available for nonalcoholic rentals Nov 15-May 15.
• Moonstone Farm Farmer’s Market: Thursdays and Saturdays, 2-6 pm. Opens ~first week of July, closes ~first frost in mid-September, with pop-up markets while produce lasts.
• Yoga on the deck with Yoga Om: Wednesday, 5:30, June-August.
