The band that gave the world “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock” has confirmed they will storm stages worldwide in 2026, celebrating their 50th anniversary with the Twisted Forever, Forever Twisted tour. The lineup features founding guitarist and manager Jay Jay French, lead guitarist Eddie Ojeda, frontman Dee Snider, drummer Joe “Seven” Franco and bassist Russell Pzütto.
Twisted Sister played their first show on February 2, 1976, at The Turtleneck Inn in Hunter Mountain, New York. Over the next decade, they became a dominant live act throughout the Tri-State area club scene, setting attendance records and becoming the only unsigned band to twice sell out New York City’s historic Palladium Theater. Their rise to international stardom followed in 1984 with the release of Stay Hungry, the multi-platinum album that produced two of the most licensed songs in heavy metal history.
Across their career, Twisted Sister has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide and earned 31 Silver, Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications across eight countries. Their music videos became MTV staples, and “We’re Not Gonna Take It” was ranked #3 on NPR’s 2018 list of “Songs That Unite Us.”
The band has toured and headlined in over 40 countries and has been recognized with multiple honors, including induction into the Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame in its inaugural 2006 class and the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame in 2023.
Five decades after their first gig, Twisted Sister remains one of heavy metal’s most iconic and influential bands, returning to the stage to celebrate a legacy built on head-banging anthems, outrageous costumes and rock and roll rebellion.
Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda have announced that iconic vocalist and front man Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for select dates this fall.
We’re excited to bring you an unforgettable night of classic rock and appreciate everyone’s patience while we awaited confirmation. We look forward to seeing you at the show!
