Alaska State Fair

Alaska’s Fair is traditionally the last blast of summer, with concerts, giant vegetables, vendors, food, carnival, exhibits, animals, contests and more!

Nestled in the heart of the Chugach Mountains, in the fertile Matanuska-Susitna Valley, the fairgrounds are just an hour north of Anchorage. Each fall, the Fair provides the perfect setting to showcase Alaska’s uniqueness and beauty.

We invite you to not only enjoy our annual event, but also take advantage of the year-round events and services the Alaska State Fair has to offer. We have a range of facilities available to rent throughout the year, and host diverse events from horse shows and auctions to wedding receptions and holiday parties.
